There's just something about putting words from pen to paper. Reading my Christmas Cards with cookies and milk this Sunday Morning. Couldn't be more grateful for these penned words because these are the very words that always keep me going...
Haven't got the time to update this little space recently because I was back Home for the past 2 and a half weeks for Christmas. And there's just something about Christmas that is always so special that I would always want to spend it back Home with friends and loved ones. Got to catch up a little bit with the nearest and dearest but time is still never enough for more. And now, back in Bangkok City enjoying the cool winter breeze and still thinking about the amazing Christmas Potluck dinner I had on the 2nd day of Christmas. Blessed Christmas! Jesus is the Reason for the Season!
After a whole day of touring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples under the spanking sun, energy level was drained and low. And by late afternoon, we had to climb up Phnom Bakheng to catch the sunset. Sounds quite reluctant, but when you see yourself amidst a multitude of people waiting to catch the glorious sun setting back home. You realize that in this big world we live in, there is something bigger and greater than all of us. No regrets climbing up, all worth it. (:
Have been feeling so distracted lately with the political situation here in Bangkok, moving to a new apartment (which means more packing and unpacking) and struggling to concentrate on studying for finals. But was out shopping at IKEA for shelves for my new apartment yesterday and finals were suppose to start today on a Monday. But while studying and feeling majorly unprepared yesterday evening, I suddenly received news that exams were postponed till next year in January due to the ongoing escalation of political protests here in Bangkok. Blessings in disguise? I don't know, but here's hoping this beautiful city gets better soon... Have a blessed week ahead! x
