Part and parcel of Sydney. Felt good to get away from fast paced countries like Bangkok and Singapore and chillax in this aussie carefree mode. Didn't really get used to it initially, but it was such a good reminder to stop and take a breather, to take in what this city had to offer entirely. This world is so much bigger and so much more beautiful than we ever expect, and sometimes, we just get so caught up in our daily lives, the to-dos, the need-to accomplish, and never really get a chance to sit back and look beyond what is all around us. Appreciated the chance to get away to Sydney be it just a mere 5 days or less. There's so much more to learn and take in...in this big big world we live in...

Every good thing about Chocolates needs to be tried right? Out and about at Darling Harbour on the last night in Sydney, and Lindt Chocolate Cafe was something I wanted to try. Chocolates don't ever hardly disappoint. With Australia's cooling night breeze and a nice view of Darling Harbour at night sipping on some good Lindt hot chocolate with macaroons. Satisfying.

Just what everybody said you needed to eat. Pancakes On The Rocks.
I think I had rather high expectations and was quite excited before eating these,
but was so hungry I didn't really care much after. But worth trying though.

So this was what I flew all the way to Sydney all for. Hillsong Colour Conference 2013. Sydney might not be one of my top holiday destinations but it was home location to the conference and so, this was it. 9 hours 20 mins from Bangkok straight to Sydney, jumped off and took an expensive train ride to the City. Was supposed to be in Sydney 2 days earlier to sightsee the city a little, but mid year exams only ended 1 fine day before the conference. Thankful enough to even be able to make it, because conference tickets were booked with anticipation last year, with entirely no clue and no plans at that moment what I was going to be up to at this point of time this year, but so grateful, things get to fall in place nice enough to go on. And so this is your fun loving and light hearted girls conference, if its anything about girls, I'm all for the feminist, and girl empowering thing. There's just something so strong, so good, so empowering to see girls from our everyday lives rising up to take our place in this world.
And I'm all for it.
